Hello! My name is Samantha.
Most people call me Sam or Sami, unless you knew me in high school, and then it is Sami-Beth (don’t ask, it’s a Southern thing). I’m 31 years old and originally from Texas, but have called rural Oregon home for the last 11 years. I love the PNW, but I’m also a huge fan of sunshine and hot weather.
I am a firm believer that life is what you make it and that anything worth doing is worth doing well, and exercise and flexibility have always been a big part of who I am as an individual. They are the vehicle I have used to better understand who I am and how I interact with the world around me.
I have been practicing yoga for over 13 years. In that time I have participated in four different training programs and many hours of workshops. I teach vinyasa classes of various levels, stretching, SUP and aerial hammock yoga.
My favorite thing about yoga is that any body can do it. There are so many “flavors” of asana (poses) and mindfulness practices that everyone can find what they need. I have used yoga to cultivate discipline, curiosity, creativity and self love. You will find all of these aspects in my teaching.
